Vipassana Master Acharavadee Wongsakon Receives Outstanding Individual Award, and Manisakarn Hall Wins Outstanding Museum Award for 2024

Vipassana Master Acharavadee Wongsakon, President of the Knowing Buddha Foundation for the Protection of Buddhism and the School of Life Foundation, has been honored with the Thai Museum Tribute Award, a prestigious national recognition for outstanding individuals in the field of museums and learning centers for the year 2024.
 
In addition, Manisakarn Hall, a museum and exhibition learning center presenting the journey of the Buddha and his teachings through interactive multimedia, initiated by Vipassana Master Acharavadee, has also been awarded the Thai Museum Honor Award 2024 by the Thai Museum Association. This national organization is dedicated to developing and promoting museum and learning center activities in both the public and private sectors. It also serves as a representative in coordinating with international museum networks to elevate professional knowledge standards in museums and learning centers, ensuring they remain relevant in an ever-changing society.
 
The Thai Museum Association, in collaboration with the Thai Museums and Learning Centers for Sustainable Development Network, has organized the National Outstanding Museum and Learning Center Awards annually since 2021. The Thai Museum Honor Award and Thai Museum Tribute Award are part of this initiative, with 2025 marking the fourth consecutive year of the program.
